- STIHL ErgoStart (E): This technology from STIHL reduces the effort required to start the chainsaw by half. The starter cord can be pulled with just one-third of the normal force, making starting the saw more comfortable and convenient.

- Ematic Chain Lubrication System: The Ematic chain lubrication system provides precise lubrication of the saw chain links and guide bar rails. When used with STIHL OILOMATIC saw chain, it maximizes lubrication, extends chain wear life, and reduces oil consumption. The Ematic system can reduce bar oil consumption by up to 50%.
- Tool-Free Filler Caps: Both the fuel and oil tanks feature special catches for easy opening and locking without requiring additional tools, simplifying refueling and oiling tasks.
