The STIGA Group is a European leader in the production and distribution of garden products.
Founded in 2000 with the name GGP (Global Garden Products), it comprises five consolidated European companies in the garden power tools market: STIGA, Alpina, Mountfield, Castelgarden and ATCO, that became part of the group in 2011. In June 2017 GGP became STIGA Group, in order to express the focus on its premium brand within the portfolio. STIGA leads what the Group stands for: high quality, innovation, safety and ease of use.
Today STIGA sells over one million products every year. With a customer-oriented culture, the group focuses on understanding and satisfying clients. Its head office is in Castelfranco Veneto, Italy, located near Venice in the north eastern part of the Veneto region. STIGA is active in most European markets with its 12 own Subsidiaries and representative offices and is present in more than 70 major nations worldwide.
Four manufacturing plants are located in Italy, Slovakia and China.
