SILKY FOX Gomtaro Root Hand Saw
240-8code: SKGOMTAROROOT
The Silky Gomtaro Root Cutting Saw is a specialist pruning tool designed for cutting roots and underground branches with precision and efficiency. Unlike standard pruning saws, the Gomtaro Root Saw features chrome-free blade plating, making it highly resistant to dirt, moisture, and resin build-up. This ensures the blade remains sharp and effective even when cutting through damp, muddy, or buried roots.
Engineered for professional arborists, landscapers, and gardeners, this saw allows users to cleanly cut roots without the risk of blade corrosion or dulling from soil debris. The high-quality SK-4 carbon steel blade delivers strong, precise cuts, while the non-set, impulse-hardened teeth provide superior durability and efficiency.
The ergonomic non-slip rubber handle ensures maximum control, even in wet or muddy conditions. The saw is also equipped with a heavy-duty polypropylene sheath with belt loops, making it easy to carry while working in various environments.

| Applications | Silky Saws are traditional Japanese pruning saws and as such are designed to cut on the pull stroke. The blade will be under tension on the cutting stroke and will not be able to bow. Let the saw do the work. Never force the blade on the push stroke as you will be pushing against the direction of the teeth. Carefully take the pressure off the blade in order to release the saw. Generally you should experience fewer vibrations and use less effort enabling longer work and improved productivity. |
